Many surveys and investigations have determined Costa Rica to offer a great diversity of product for the potential consumer. Among the many types of products available in the country at large are:
- Traditional trips: general interests and soft nature.
- Natural history: bird watching, photographic safaris,national parks and biological reserves, low impact visitation of ecological areas and communitties.
- Adventure in ecological settings: natural adventure, hiking, horseback riding, etc.
- Water sports.
- River rafting/kayaking.
- Oceans/lakes: windsurfing, surfing and diving.
- Health related tourism: due to Costa Rica´s quality health care.
- And many, many,many others.
